"And We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe."
Sura Al Isra 17:82
WHAT IS RUQYA
Ruqya is the recitation of the Holy Qur'an as a source of healing; seeking refuge in Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) through remembrance and supplications that are used as a means of treating sicknesses and other problems (except old age and death which are inevitable).
Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) says: "And We sent down the Qur'an which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe." [Surah Al-Isra' 17:82]
Ruqya can be done to cure evil eye, possession of jinn, envy and magic.
Yaqeen (belief in the methodology) and Tawakkal (trust, reliance and dependence in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as the Source of all healing and cure) is essential whilst having Ruqya.
The Sunnah is to do it in odd numbers.
TYPES OF RUQYA
RUQYA ASH SHIRKIYYAH This is where help is sought by supplicating or calling upon help; or to seek the protection from other than Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). This is regarded as Shirk al Akbar (a major shirk which removes one from Islam) and is not allowed under Islamic Law.
RUQYA AS SHARIA This is prescribed in the Qur'an and Prophetic narrations for which certain conditions must be followed in order to perform this:
It must be performed with the words of Allah (Qur'an) or His names and attributes, glorified be He.
It should be performed in Arabic or in a language that one is able to understand.
One must believe that ruqya itself is not a cure but that the cure is from Allah alone; and that we need to use the means that Allah has provided us within the Shariah to seek that cure.
At Al Nasiha Services we ONLY perform Ruqya as Sharia We combine Ruqya and Hijama together whilst reciting the Holy Qur'an continuously on the patient; and with Allah's (subhanahu wa ta'ala) help the evil entities and forces (shayateen and magic) which are disturbing the patient become exposed, weakened and eliminated. We find the combination of both therapies works extremely effectively in combating the magic and evil shayateen. A treatment session can last up to 3 hours and can cost between £50 to £70.
After the Ruqya session we give the patient a Tibb an Nabbawi Treatment Plan and a Ruqya Pack to help them continue with their therapeutic and spiritual healing.
We also provide FREE aftercare support in person and by phone.
The Ruqya Rehab Centre has been specifically established to help those individuals who require intensive, one to one support, guidance and assistance to help them rehabilitate socially, emotionally and spiritually.
At the heart of the Centre’s work is the ‘relationship’ with Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) knowing that everything - including problems, calamities and difficulties can only affect a person if Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) permits and the Cure can only come from Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) when He, (subhanahu wa ta'ala) Wills.
We work by helping the patient to rebuild and strengthen their relationship with Allah (subhanu wa ta'ala) by providing them with a Halal and Tayyab Treatment Plan that meets their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
